4 months agoSuch a great local spot! The owner is genuinely one of the nicest people you’ll meet… You can tell they genuinely love what they do, and it shows in the vibe of the whole place. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to!!!

year agoHello there folks, after my friend suggested we visit Tropix for the first time, I glad we were able to visit this establishment. Although we went during a Tuesday evening, I prefer it that way. The atmosphere was great. Plenty of television screens to watch sports games and have a great conversation with your friends. The service was fantastic, on point and the staff is really friendly and engaging, one really gets to know the history and how the establishment got its origins. The wings were amazing, my friend and I ordered the wings platter with different sauces on the side. The hot sauce was great, spicy but not too overwhelming. I had the frozen drinks (Call me a cab), the flavor was great but it will sneak up on you but delicious. We had the chance to meet the owner and he recommended other dishes for future visits. I will definitely come back and try the steak and more wings. Our overall experience was great. Close to major subway lines and buses along Queens Boulevard. Veteran friendly. Clean establishment.

2 years agoHighly recommend this place , I had my daughters 30th birthday party here last Sunday April 21st 2024. The owner Gary and his associate were so kind and made this event memorable! We rented the upstairs lounge decorated it, ordered the food and drinks and everyone really enjoyed themselves! Most importantly, my daughter her friends and my family were satisfied with the party results. Highly recommend this quaint bar lounge space, the waitress assigned was also on her game as well her assistant!

year agoI booked a party for my dear friends 50th birthday and everything went off without a hitch. The finger food choices were great! The drinks were delicious. We booked a room in the back on the ground floor. It was perfect for the party. The DJ started spinning at 9pm and we danced the night away. They were kind enough to refrigerate the cake. Our waitress was attentive to us. She kept clearing our table and asking us if we were okay. I can't remember her name but she had dimples and a warm welcoming smile. The party was so good and doing business with Gary went smooth that I am booking my birthday party next! Can't wait to go to TROPIX again! Thanks Gary & staff! 🙏🏼🫶🏼

month agoAs soon as my boyfriend and I walked in we were greeted by Gary and he treated us as family. I have never seen an owner so involved. Everyone was very attentive. The place was a vibe. Can’t wait to go back!

3 months agoThis was my second time coming into this wonderful establishment. As soon as I came in, I was greeted with nice smiles, polite gestures, and such great service. I was serviced by Martin and also I met the owner there at this establishment, his name is Gary; such a great and nice guy. They treated me and my mom with so much respect and kindness. I really enjoyed myself, thank you so much Gary.
